Awesome indeed!!
What kind of water clarity do you typically deal with on the Mississippi over there? I’ve never fished it, and I don’t have much luck on the Wisconsin river with a jerk bait. 3 foot of visibility on the Wisconsin river is considered a good day really. Not jerk bait water?

Lake Onalaska can get clearer than most think, I believe. A couple feet of good water is what we had. It’s funny, this spring, fishing was good out there in March. Then early April the lake got dirty, the bite shut down….Now it’s clear again and fishing is hot again….When we fished for this show, the fish weren’t moving very far to see or get the bait.
